1 Overview

1.1. BTN-M - Component scheme

2 Printing

Wise advice

3D printed parts: if you don’t have a 3D printer you can produce the pieces in your local FabLab or order them online

2.1. Printing

After downloading the files (3D print section above), print the pieces with the following printing settings:

Nozzle:0.4 mm
Material: PETG
Infill: 15%
Perimeters: 3

3 Preparation

3.1. Cutting the cables

3.2. Cutting the heatshrink tubing

Insert the HS through all cables D, the black cable A and one of the red cables C before soldering

After soldering, place the HS over the solder and let it shrink on it using a heating gun or carefully using a lighter

3.3. Jumper

With the help of a soldering iron, solder the "B" Jumper on the touch sensor board.

Wise advice

Perform this step by yourself if you have the right competences otherwise check this guide or look for support at your local Fablab

Attention

Create a bridge! When soldering the red cable to V1 and CE create a bridge spreading the welding on both joints

3.4. Solder the circuit

Warning

Be careful! Solder the battery to the rest of the circuit only at the very end!

Before connecting the battery to the circuit, make sure you have already set the potentiometer on the step-up board according to the given voltage.

3.5. Solder the battery

4 Assembly

4.1. Components assembly 1

Insert the touch sensor inside the appropriate slot at the bottom of the ring body

Insert the led driver and the board into the appropriate slots

4.2. Components assembly 2

Insert the battery inside the button body

Place the heatsink on top the battery

4.3. Components assembly 3

Insert the BMS into the designated slot and the capacitator in one of the hollow spaces of the heatsink

4.4. Components assembly 4

Apply some conductive paste to fix the LED onto the center of the heatsink

4.5. Components assembly 5

Clip the diffuser onto the button body using some pressure, make sure that the charging slot is aligned with the board
