1 Printing

Wise advice

Our WAL-L structure comes in two versions: 45 and 60 degrees of inclination. Choose the one that fits your room best or switch them as you need them!

1.1. STR-WAL-L PRINTING

After downloading the files (3D print section above), print the pieces with the following printing settings:

Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Material: PETG
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Perimeters: 3
Infill: 20%

2 Preparation

2.1. STR-WAL-L - CUTTING THE TUBE

Cut the tube into the given length, we recommend the use of a metal saw for a clean cut. Make sure to have a straight cut.

Make sure to correct and refine the cut using sand paper and/or a file.

2.2. STR - PREPARING THE WALL

With the help of a drill and an 8mm drill bit, make a hole in the wall at the desidered lamp location.

Insert inside the previously drilled hole the raw plug.

3 Assembly

Attention

For this specific structure you need to assemble two ball magnet joints but only one of these needs a magnet!

Attention

Make sure the glue stays on the outer side of the edge.

It must not touch the magnet or its housing. Apply some pressure and let dry for at least 15min.

3.1. STR-WAL-L - GLUEING OF THE MAGNET BALL JOINT

Place the magnet into the joint body.

Apply carefully small amount of superglue (ideally gel) over the rim of the body.

Carefully position the cap ontop of the body, pressing the pieces together to ensure proper bonding .

Slide the o-rings onto the upper and bottom slots.

If more friction is needed use a 3rd one in the middle slot.

Wise advice

If the magnet is stuck improvise to free it (i.e. with a thin pencil through the body bottom).

If it does not work try to gently remove the cap and repeat the operation.

3.2. STR-WAL-L - CHECKING THE MAGNET BALL JOINT

Is the magnet free?

Shake the magnet-ball joint and make sure that the magnet is free inside.

3.3. STR-WAL-L - POLE ASSEMBLY

Insert the previously assembled ball hinges inside the tube following the given schematic.

3.4. STR - ATTACHING THE SCREW

With the help of a screwdriver, pass a wall screw through the 3D printed screw and tighten it to the previously placed raw plug.

3.5. STR-WAL-L - MOUNTING THE HOLDER TO THE WALL

Screw the pole holder to the previously fixed 3d printed wall screw.

3.6. STR-WAL-L - INSERTING THE POLE

Insert the structure pole to the the previously fixed pole holder.

4 STR-WAL-L is ready!
